Ashley Ahmad, NP-C

Ashley Ahmad, NP-C is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in neurosurgery. She began her career in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at Rush University Medical Center and later served as a neurosurgery NP at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where she managed inpatient spine, cranial, and endovascular patients.

Currently, Ashley works at Indiana Spine Group, providing care in both inpatient and clinic settings alongside Dr. Shah Ahmad. She is deeply committed to helping patients navigate their spine and neurological conditions, offering personalized care from pre-operative assessments to post-operative recovery, and supporting them through every step of their journey toward better health.

Elizabeth Burton, NP-C

Elizabeth Burton, NP-C, nurse practitioner working with Dr. Thomas Reilly at Indiana Spine Group, dedicates her time treating and educating patients with spinal pathology and osteoporosis and focuses on disease and infection prevention.  Liz works in both the clinical and OR setting wherein she is responsible for conducting physical exams, pre and post-op evaluations and preventative health care.

Rounds at the hospital for inpatient stays
Incision care

Elizabeth sees in patients in our Peru and Kokomo offices.

Christina Ciresi, NP-C, CNOR

Christina Ciresi, MSN, NP-C, CNOR specializes in the care and treatment of patients with spinal diseases and disorders under the supervision of Dr. Michael McCarthy.  She attended Xavier University in Cincinnati OH for her undergraduate nursing degree and East Tennessee State University for her graduate nursing degree. Most of her nursing career has been in the operating room as a staff RN as well as a nursing educator. She has also provided care to post operative and trauma patients. Christina has worked at several Level One Trauma Centers and enjoys taking care of critically ill, trauma and oncologic patients, specifically. She has obtained and maintained a Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

In her spare time, Christina enjoys spending time with her family and doing almost any outdoor activity, camping, hiking, kayaking, biking.

Christina sees in patients in our Carmel, Lebanon, Zionsville, and Crawfordsville offices.

Chelsey Decker, NP-C

 

Chelsey Decker, MSN, RN, NP-C is a nurse practitioner with Indiana Spine Group.  She is dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with orthopedic spine disorders. Ms. Decker works in the operating room, outpatient office, and hospital settings. She attended Ball State University for both her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees. She is a certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has worked most of her nursing career in the operating room, which is where she fell in love with orthopedics and neurosurgery. Her responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, first assisting with surgeries in the operating room, evaluating, counseling and treating patients under the supervision of Joseph D. Smucker, MD.

 

In her spare time, Chelsey enjoys spending time with her family, friends, traveling, and home improvement projects.

Rebecca Derringer, MPAS, PA-C

I am Rebecca Derringer, MPAS, PA-C. I am a Physician Assistant for the  Pain Management team at the Indiana Spine Group and work under the supervision of Dr. Macadaeg and Dr. Gentile. I was raised locally in Zionsville, Indiana. I received my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from DePauw University. I obtained my Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Evansville. I am dedicated to the care of patients with various spinal disorders. My roles include evaluating patients, obtaining histories, conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, assisting in procedures, and providing pre-operative and post-operative care for minimally invasive procedures.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my dog Milo.

Eric Girardot, PA-C, MPAS

Eric Girardot, PA-C, MPAS is a physician assistant with Indiana Spine Group who works alongside Dr. Rick Sasso, MD. He has extensive experience in neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery, and is dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with spinal disorders. Mr. Girardot works in the outpatient clinic, operating room, and hospital settings. He evaluates patients, conducts physical examinations, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, first assists with surgeries in the operating room, provides preoperative and postoperative care, and counsels patients.

McKenze Larrabee, PA-C

McKenze Larrabee, PA-C is a physician assistant with Indiana Spine Group. She specializes in the care and treatment of patients with spinal disorders under the supervision of Dr. Jeff Konopka. Ms. Larrabee works in the clinic, hospital setting, and operating room. As part of her comprehensive responsibilities, she conducts physical examinations, orders and interprets tests, counsels patients on preventive health care, assists Dr. Konopka in surgery and helps patients with preoperative and postoperative care.

Julie Moser, NP-C, CNOR

Julie Moser, FNP-C, CNOR is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in  care and treatment of patients with spinal diseases and disorders under the supervision of Dr. Barrett Boody with the Indiana Spine Group.  With over 16 years of experience in orthopedic spinal surgery as well as previously practicing as a hospitalist, she is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care.  Ms. Moser believes in a patient-centered approach, focusing on preventative care, evaluation and treatment of spinal conditions, education, and collaboration with patients and families. She aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to manage their health effectively.

Her responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, first assisting with surgeries in the operating room, as well as caring for preoperative and postoperative patients in the office and the hospital.

Ms. Moser graduated with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Indiana University.  Her undergraduate nursing degree is from Purdue University. She practiced as an operating room nurse prior to obtaining her masters.  She has obtained and maintained a Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as well as the Association of Operating Room Nurses.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, horse-trail riding, camping, boating, riding motorcycles and gardening.

Julie sees in patients in our Fishers and Greenfield offices.

Kristine Nagle, NP-C

Kristine Nagle, NP-C is a board certified nurse practitioner with the Indiana Spine Group. She specializes in the care and treatment of patients with all types of spinal disorders alongside Dr. Paul Kraemer.

Ms. Nagle works in the outpatient clinic, operating room and hospital settings. Her responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, first assisting in surgeries in the operating room and caring for pre and postoperative patients in the office and hospital.

In her spare time, Kristine enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as being active, reading and playing golf.

Ali Pelych, PA-C, MPAS

Ali Pelych, PA-C, MPAS is a physician assistant with Indiana Spine Group. She specializes in the care and treatment of patients with spinal diseases and disorders under the supervision of Dr. Justin Miller. As part of her comprehensive responsibilities, Ms. Pelych conducts physical examinations, orders and interprets tests, counsels patients on preventive health care, assists physicians in surgery and helps patients with preoperative and postoperative care in both the hospital and office setting.
