Brian Adams, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional pain physician. He completed a multidisciplinary pain fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2022. He is focused not only on providing advanced interventional techniques of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral spine but also in painful conditions involving peripheral nerves and joints. During his fellowship, he gained expertise on the latest innovations aimed at reducing pain while regaining physical function and quality of life.Dr. Adams attended medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine before completing his anesthesiology residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He served as a chief resident his final year. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist and practiced general anesthesia for seven years before focusing on pain management. Dr. Adams pairs his training with a compassionate patient-centered approach to overcome chronic pain.
Dr. Adams lives in Bloomington with his wife and two children. He enjoys traveling the US and is an avid fan of Indiana University athletics.
