He did a spinal fusion for me yesterday, and my sciatica is gone and I'm able to walk normally again.
I'm quite comfortable and am only taking a muscle relaxant and acetaminophen as a precaution but have not needed anything stronger, so far.
I highly recommend Dr Ahmad. I came to Dr Ahmad from Asheville North Carolina for my surgery. It was worth the traveling and I'd do it again if I had to.
It’s now been 3 months since my surgery and I had my second tele-health follow up with Dr. Ahmad. I’m now off all activity restrictions. My sciatica is just an unpleasant memory now. I haven’t had even the slightest hint of it.
Dr. Ahmad is the best.
I couldn't stand or walk for no more than ten minutes before having to stop and sit down because of severe sciatic nerve pain due to pinching of the nerve. A couple of weeks after surgery I'm able to stand and walk nearly pain free!! Excellent doctor and his staff is wonderful! Thank you so much for giving me my life back, you are the best!
Dr. Ahmad's detailed description of my husband's upcoming surgery was so helpful. The staff is truly amazing and we have enjoyed our visits even though it involves a major surgery!
Update: Surgery was successful and we are very impressed with the hospital staff and food. Everything has been amazing!
Very professional, throughly communicates and answers all questions. Never felt rushed. Always polite with a smile. Best part, very good at what they do. They studied my situation and talked about all options. Included me with every decision and listened to any concerns we had. I felt comfortable and positive having Dr. Ahmad perform my back surgery. I'm doing well. Thanks to his staff as well. All are good people.
Dr Ahmad is amazing!! He has the best bedside manner and really takes the time to listen to concerns and does not dismiss them. He genuinely wants to help alleviate your pain. I was able to get in to an appointments quickly and a plan for surgery was quickly scheduled due to the amount of pain I was in. Surgery went great and I woke up in zero pain. I have already recommended someone to him and will continue to do so in the future.
